High-alumina porcelain materials with mass fractions of 92% Al2O3 and 95% Al2O3 are commonly used to make ceramic shells. High-alumina ceramic materials are also used to manufacture ceramic parts such as filled knife-type contact fuses with large rated current, filled screw bolt connection fuses, filled round simple cap fuses, and filled semiconductor device protection fuses.
With its good high-temperature insulation performance, high-alumina porcelain materials have been used in mass production of automobile spark plug insulators, high-temperature heat-resistant equipment insulators, such as porcelain sleeves and porcelain shafts for electric precipitator devices. High-alumina porcelain materials can be used to make temperature controllers for household appliances in terms of temperature-resistant equipment; porcelain tubes, beads and columns of heating furnaces; ignition rods, argon arc welding nozzles and gas nozzles that can withstand higher temperatures. In terms of wear-resistant ceramic parts, it can be used to manufacture spray dryer nozzle holes, vortex plates, etc.; nozzles for sandblasting; ceramic balls and ceramic linings for ball mills.
